I am extremely pleased with my "Nicktane" CAT fuel filter installation. The location of the filter on the truck facilitates easy routine inspection and maintenance. Based on proven and widely available Caterpillar components, the system provides extraordinarily high quality protection for our Duramax fuel injectors at a very reasonable price. Nick installed mine and I was impressed with his care and attention to detail during the entire process. My truck has run flawlessly since and though always wary of the "placebo effect," I am now certain that it runs more smoothly than before. I wouldn't have expected this merely from installing a fuel filter, but I don't know how else to explain the marked improvement. My GMC D/A represents a significant investment and I have planned from the beginning to keep it for many, many years. I feel much more secure in that goal now that I know nothing but clean fuel is reaching my injectors. Based on this experience, the next time Nick offers a new product for our trucks I will be among the first in line to get it.
